Training courses are offered online or at our offices in Tampa, Florida. We currently offer the Rocketscan Administrator Course and Rocketscan Refresher Training. See course descriptions and sign up your district below.

Rocketscan Administrator Course

The RocketScan Administrator Course is designed to provide qualified personnel with the basic training necessary to use all of the RocketScan’s standard and advanced features. In this course we'll cover the basic knowledge needed for RocketScan Operator Duties, including scanning, ICR verification, hold queue processing, running reports, data import and image/data export. The advanced instruction includes configuring scanner controls for optimal quality, adding users and configuring privileges, configuring Mission Control and configuring DTS settings for IT Technical Personnel to be able to describe in detail all RocketScan FMA components and their optimal distribution in an IT environment.

The instructor led group-paced training consists of presentation, demonstration and hands-on exercises utilizing the actual software in a representative environment. Instructor and student guides contain measurable objectives for each topic, top-level outlines with space suitable for notes, hands-on exercise instructions, references, help topics used to create the lesson topic, demonstration procedures (instructor guide only) and self-check quizzes. Written and performance exams are administered for the purpose of evaluating personnel proficiency, curriculum effectiveness and certifying staff for technical support.

Intended Audience: For current RocketSCAN customers who would like an in-depth training: Approximate time: two business days (includes breaks).

Rocketscan Refresher Training

For current Rocketscan Districts who need a quick refresher on the software, held yearly every August
Duration: three hours including 10 minute breaks and open discussion

The course provides a review of functions and tasks needed to effectively process RocketScan free and reduced scannable meal application forms. In a demonstration format, we will be processing actual forms in real-time. This is the perfect refresher before the start of the busy processing season.

You must have some previous experience with RocketScan to attend this training. New districts, please see Rocketscan Administrator Course above.

Course Price

$169 per district per day (2 seats per district) 16 seats available per session

Payment must be received one week prior to training date or an invoice will be generated upon receipt of your registration. The invoice will outline terms of payment. All payments for Rocketscan Refresher Training are not refundable. Unused training funds will be credited toward your account for future order fulfillment.
