INTELLIGENT CHARACTER RECOGNITION

Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) is an advanced optical character recognition (OCR) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligent_character_recognition ).
This technology determination of the confidence of the accuracy of each character; one character at a time. Software displays all questionable characters (one at a time); to view and make appropriate corrections (see one form below).
Accuracy rates of 80% to 90% on neat, clean hand-printed characters can be achieved, but that accuracy rate still translates to dozens of errors per page, making the technology useful only in very limited applications. INTELLIGENT NAME RECOGNITION

Intelligent Name Recognition (INR) is an advanced intelligent character recognition (ICR).
This technology looks at all the letter within the student name, determinates the level of confidence of each character; then uses only the letters with highest level of confidence to make a match from Student name within the district.
Accuracy rate of +/- 90% based on complete name and database integrity
